Red Bull X-Alps
On July 7 2013 the world’s toughest adventure race – the Red Bull X-Alps – took place for the sixth time. 32 of the world’s best athletes from 21 countries commenced the race in Salzburg. They raced 1031 km through the Alps to Monaco and could only travel by foot or paraglider. Their strategy was based upon information regarding wind and weather with precise forecasting and interpretation the decider between victory and defeat.
